As a little present, I have just uploaded Get Lifted Pt. 7 - check out the link at the top of the mixes page. This weekend will be a busy one, kicking it off on Thursday night. First up, I'm doing an early set at La Vita (Studio Valbonne) with Todd Terry (my set 10pm-11pm), then I'm off to the Ministry of Sound for Back To '95 (my set 1am-2am) with a live PA from Kim English! On Sunday 23rd March, Queen of Funk Presents Get Lifted alongside Shameful, where we will be hosting the middle room - alongside the Swedish House Mafia Axwell, Ingrosso & Angello. The first of these parties takes place on Sunday 16th September, at the much loved White House in Clapham. 'Get Lifted' hosts the top floor of Precious People's & RPM Magazine's 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'. Headlining in the main room Is Radio 1's Trophy Twins. 'Get Lifted' DJ's will be Lady Duracell (Queen of Funk), Huck Finn (One For The Girls), Sy Sez (Fanatix), DJ Mozza & Double S (Passion fm), & Darren Deep (House fm), with Sheyi 'The Gift' on percussion and La Zoylita freestyling vocalist. This is a monthly event.

Hey everyone - this year has been amazing so far! So many good parties, and lots of exciting projects. I've been promising you some BIG news, and it's about time I shared it with you!
At the beginning of the year I was asked to provide the soundtrack for Nell McAndrews next fitness DVD. I had to choose, license & mix the music. I was totally honoured to be asked to get involved in this big project, and what an amazing learning curve it was!
I'm not going to give too much away, but let's say the house music I chose, has afro/latin/tribal influences, is deep but uplifting and pumping enough to put Nell McAndrew and eventually YOU through the paces.
Nell is known not only for her fitness DVD's, but also for her modelling career, and for her real life Lara Croft promotion as well. Dressing up like Lara Croft was her job between 1996 and 1997. Being the real life version of the character took her all over the world to promote Tomb Raider 3.
Nell McAndrew released her first fitness video in 2002 called 'Peak Energy' which soon became the number one fitness video. The second 'Maximum Impact' was released in December 2003. The third fitness video 'Ultimate Challenge, Ultimate Results' was released December 2004. Liam who takes the class, and his partner Michele have been training together for around 15 years, and all of the videos are based on their classes.
The fourth DVD will be released in December '07, and this time around you can get fit with Nell McAndrew with Lady Duracell (Queen of Funk) in the mix.

Rest In Peace DJ Justmick. Unfortunately, though he battled long & hard, my good friend Mick passed away in the early hours of Wednesday. My heart and all my love & thoughts are with his wife Kathy, his son James, and his daughters, Evie, Natalie & Amy. I'll always have my memories, no-one can take those away. DJ Justmick, rest in peace, perfect peace.
We are still going ahead with the night on friday in tribute to DJ Justmick, and all proceeds raised will be going to his family. Hope to see you at Niche in Staines this friday 22nd June.

Half way through June - can you believe it? So much has happened this year, most of it good, some of it not good. One of those things was the news that my friend DJ Justmick was diagnosed with lung cancer. Our fight for him goes on, and this friday 22nd June we will be raising funds by doing what we do best - putting on a party for you. I had some bad news recently, a good friend of mine DJ Justmick is seriously ill, he's been diagnosed with lung cancer. This is devasting news but more so for his wife, three daughters & son. On 12th May Passion fm & Peppermint Parties will be joining forces to bring you a massive house night @ Canvas, and we hope to raise a lot of money for Mick & his family. He is a veteran on the scene and the London house DJ's will be out in force that day. Your support will be very much appreciated.

Erick Morillo has announced that he is 'hanging up his headphones' in two
years to concentrate on his record label Subliminal... and to pursue an acting

Five years on, Lazy Dog, the club night started by DJs Ben Watt and
Jay Hannan is to end on with two final parties in May. It is their joint
